  • lots of technical terms
  • authors share the results of their original study or literature review
  • lots of charts and statistics
  • lots of data analysis
  • no advertisements
  • long list of references

Use the "Peer-Review" Filter

Want to know if an article is peer-reviewed?  Follow these steps:

  1. Do a search in Summon.
  2. Click on the title of an article that you like.
  3. Click on the name of the publication (the link next to the word "Source").
  4. Look for a YES or NO next to "Peer-Reviewed" at the bottom of the page.
